Welcome to Our Security Awareness Initiative
At Noti0n, we believe that people are the first and strongest line of defense against cyber threats. This page is part of an internal cybersecurity training initiative, aimed at helping users identify and respond appropriately to phishing attacks. Through realistic simulations and awareness campaigns, we empower our team to stay vigilant in the evolving digital landscape.
About the Phishing Simulation Project
This phishing simulation was organized by Jorge Faria as part of an internal cybersecurity awareness program. If you are seeing this page, it means you interacted with a simulated phishing email.
Expect to be contacted soon for further instructions and debriefing.
The goal is to improve our collective security posture and ensure everyone is prepared to face real-world cyber threats. No real credentials were stolen or misused during this test.
Recognizing Phishing Attacks
- Unexpected emails from unknown senders requesting urgent action
- Spelling mistakes, poor grammar, or unusual tone in the email
- Links that lead to suspicious websites or mimic legitimate ones
- Requests for passwords, credit card numbers, or personal information
- Generic greetings like "Dear Customer" instead of personalized addresses
Best Practices to Stay Safe
- Always verify the sender's address before clicking links or opening attachments
- Hover over hyperlinks to preview their real destination before clicking
- Use strong, unique passwords for different accounts and enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Report any suspicious emails to your IT/security team immediately
- Remember: legitimate organizations will never ask for sensitive information via email
